  • Fire That Ravaged A $14M Shaughnessy Home May Have Been Set Deliberately
October 22, 2017 just before 2:30 a.m. officers from the VPD and the Vancouver Fire and Rescue Service responded to a house fire near Angus Drive and Matthews Avenue in Vancouver. 
 
Investigators determined that the fire was suspicious.
 
No one was injured and it is believed that the house was vacant at the time of the fire. Investigators from VPD and VFRS are currently gathering evidence and trying to determine the cause.
 
Investigators are asking anyone with information about this fire to please call investigators at 604-717-2541 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
