Police in Delta say one person has been injured in a shooting this morning that investigators suspect to be gang-related.
Police say they responded shortly after seven a-m to a report of a shooting at the 81-hundred block of 112-B Street.
Officers found the injured victim at the scene, while a white Ford pickup truck was seen leaving the area.
A vehicle similar to the truck was then found on fire about eight minutes later, and police are working to confirm if the incidents are linked.
The premier says he spoke with Carson's father who told him that since their son's death, the family has been contacted by the families of three of his classmates, who said their children were also talking online with strangers. Eby says people from across B.C. have been contacting his office saying their children were in situations similar to Carson's and they only found out due to publicity surrounding the boy's death.
