Harjot Singh Deo, Ex-Boyfriend Accused Of Murdering Kiran Dhesi, Granted Bail

    Harjot Singh Deo, 21, suspect charged with murder in 19-yr-old has been granted bail. His bail set at $750,000 with a deposit of $50,000 on Oct. 11 under conditions that amount to house arrest.


    Deo was in a romantic relationship with Dhesi when she was killed over a-year-and-a-half ago. He was arrested at Vancouver International Airport earlier this year


    His brother, 25-year-old Gurvinder Singh Deo and 22-year-old Talwinder Singh Khun Khun, an an extended family member, have also been charged with interference with a dead body.


    Harjot’s older sister, 23-year-old Inderdeep Deo, and mother, 53-year-old Majit Kaur Deo, are both charged with accessory after the fact to murder.


    The next court appearance for all of the accused is scheduled for Nov. 13.
