SALMON ARM , B.C. — One person has been killed in a head-on crash on Highway 1 near Salmon Arm, B.C.

RCMP say a car and a commercial vehicle were travelling in opposite directions, and they collided on a curved stretch of the highway Sunday morning.

He could not say if the victim was a driver or a passenger, or which vehicle they were travelling in.
