On May 20, 2021, just before 5 pm, Emergency services were called to the Langley Airport for a report of a Helicopter that had crashed. 

It was later determined that a helicopter, carrying the pilot and one passenger, had crashed shortly after take off.  The pilot and passenger were able to walk away from the helicopter and are not seriously injured.  

Navigation Canada is involved and will be taking conduct of the investigation into the cause of this crash.
