Help Surrey RCMP Identify Whalley Robbery Suspect And Person Of Interest

    Surrey RCMP is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect and a person of interest in an armed robbery which occurred in Whalley.


    On October 27, 2019, at approximately 5:42 pm, an adult male entered the Chatr Mobile store located in the City Centre Mall, went behind the counter, stole cash from the cash box, and threatened the store employee with a weapon. The man fled from the mall on foot, using the west exit towards University Drive.


    The suspect is described as a Caucasian, adult male, with a medium build, short brown hair, who was wearing a black hat with a ‘Burton’ logo.


    Investigation by the Surrey RCMP Robbery has included a review of surveillance video. As a result, police are also seeking to identify a woman who is a person of interest in this robbery. The person of interest is described as an adult female. Please see attached photo.
