  • Help Wanted: TransLink Posts CEO Ad For Transit Authority's Top Job With Generous Pay Package
VANCOUVER — Metro Vancouver's embattled transit authority is looking for someone new to take the helm.

TransLink has posted an advertisement for a new CEO.

The full-time, permanent posting comes weeks after a region-wide transit vote failed to secure $7.5 billion over the next decade for transportation upgrades across the Lower Mainland.

The position's advertised salary is $320,000 a year and the minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree.

Applicants have until Nov. 19 to submit their resumes.

Interim CEO Doug Allen's contract finishes on Aug. 10 but CFO Cathy McLay will take over temporarily until a permanent replacement is found.
