Homicide Detectives Say Death Near Boston Bar, B.C. Was Not Random

    BOSTON BAR, B.C. — One person has been arrested and homicide detectives are investigating after a body was found in British Columbia's Fraser Canyon region.
     
     
    RCMP say the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team and officers from the Hope and Chilliwack detachments were called Wednesday about a suspicious occurrence 12 kilometres north of Boston Bar.
     
     
    The unnamed victim was found near Highway 1 and police say one person was arrested at the scene.
     
     
    Cpl. Mike Rail says in a news release that the death is not believed to have been a random act.
     
     
    No other details are being released.
