Homicide Investigators Take Case After Abbotsford, B.C., Shooting Turns Fatal

    ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — A Wednesday evening shooting in Abbotsford, B.C., is now being investigated as a homicide.
     
    Police in the Fraser Valley city say the victim was attacked just after 9 p.m.
     
    The shooting occurred (in the 3100 block of Crown Court) in the Clearbrook area of northwest Abbotsford.
     
    The unnamed man was rushed to hospital but did not survive.
     
    Members of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team have taken over the case.
     
    Officers have not said if the shooting is considered targeted or if any suspects have been identified.
