Indo-Canadian Man Charged In Murder Of Surrey's Tarsem 'Shane' Singh

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 11 Dec, 2014 11:14 PM
SURREY, B.C. — A 33-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of another man whose body was found in a vehicle in Surrey, B.C.

Randeep Singh Match has been arrested in what police are calling a targeted attack.

RCMP Staff Sgt. Jennifer Pound says 35-year-old Tarsem Shane Dhaliwal's family reported him missing on Jan. 19, two days before his body was discovered.

Pound says evidence led investigators to believe that foul play was involved.

Match was taken into custody in Abbotsford on Wednesday.

Pound says the two men knew each other but a motive for the murder is not being released.
