Information Wanted In Delores Brown Homicide Investigation

    As the four-year anniversary marking the disappearance of 19-year-old Delores Deedee Brown passes, investigators continue to seek the public’s assistance.


    Deedee was last seen on early hours of July 27 2015, partying at the Point on Penelakut Island with friends. Deedee never returned home that night.


    On August 19, 2015 Deedee’s body was discovered near Norway Island. Investigators suspected criminality in Deedee’s death and commenced a homicide investigation. As years have passed, Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) investigators continue to follow up on investigative leads and are working hard determine who is responsible for Deedee’s death.


    We once again are asking the public, if you have any information about Deedee’s death, please contact VIIMCU investigators, states Corporal John Place. The information held by members of the public may be the key piece of evidence needed to bring this file to a successful conclusion.
