Late Night Stabbing In Burnaby, Sends Man To Hospital; RCMP Investigating

    BURNABY, B.C. — A man is recovering in hospital after a late night stabbing in Burnaby, B.C.
     
    Officers were called to the area of Beaverbrook Crescent and Capella Drive after receiving reports of a group of people fighting.
     
    When they arrived, Mounties found a man lying on the street with stab wounds.
     
    RCMP Staff Sgt. Wayne Baier says an initial investigation has found the stabbing is likely not gang-related.
     
    He is asking any witnesses to contact Crimestoppers or the local detachment in Burnaby.
     
    Investigators have no suspect description and no one has been arrested.
