Loud Explosions Heard In Downtown Vancouver

    A number of people on social media are reporting being woken up by some loud explosions in downtown Vancouver around 4 a.m. today.
     
    The Vancouver Police also said they did receive a number of calls about the loud bangs but they don’t know the cause or the reason behind them.
     
    According to reports the noises were heard in the areas of Seymour and Smithe, Robson and Richards, Nelson and Homer, Cambie and Nelson, and even Broadway and Cambie.
     
    City manager for the City of Vancouver Sadhu Johnston is not aware of anything happening in the area early Tuesday morning but he is checking with other departments for any reports.
     
     
    Some Twitter users posted these following messages: told us the bangs were loud enough to wake up everyone in the house. They did not hear any sirens however.
