Man charged with sexually assaulting students in Alberta Bible college dorm

Darpan News Desk , 19 Aug, 2014 10:35 AM
RCMP have charged a man in the sexual assault of several students in a dormitory at a central Alberta Bible college.

The Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills has made improvements to its security after the alleged crimes early Sunday.

The school's president, Mark Maxwell, says the encounters happened during orientation weekend for first-time students.

Maxwell says an intruder got in through a ground floor window and crept into unlocked rooms belonging to both men and women.

Maxwell says the man woke up students by touching them on their legs, then asked them for sexual favours.

Renie Gall, who is 33 and from Three Hills, is to appear in Drumheller court on Friday on charges of break and enter, theft and six counts of sexual assault.
