Man Dead, 2 People Injured After Pickup Truck Crash In Abbotsford

    Emergency Services were called to a reported off-road crash in the area of Straiton Road and Willet Road early this morning at 3:45 am.
     
    Abbotsford Patrol Officers, Abbotsford Fire Rescue Services and BC Ambulance Service responded to the area and located a pickup truck that had left the roadway and went down an embankment. 
     
    There were three occupants in the vehicle. Sadly, one male occupant was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other occupants, a male and female in their mid 20’s, were transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
     
    APD Major Crime Unit and Collision Reconstructionists are investigating. All contributing factors to the fatal collision are being considered.
     
     
    The Abbotsford Police Department is appealing to witnesses to contact us with information concerning this collision
