Man dead, another injured when shots were fired at a vehicle in Surrey, B.C.

One man has died and another has been injured after someone fired shots into a vehicle in Surrey, B.C., Tuesday evening. 

Police say they were called to the 6800 block of 148 Street just before 7 p.m., and found a man inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man died at the scene, while another man found nearby was hospitalized with minor injuries.

Homicide investigators have taken over the case. 

Investigators say that no arrests have been made, and no suspect information has been made public.

Police are now asking anyone with information to contact homicide investigators.
