Man Found Dead After Reports Of Shots Fired In Campbell River, B.C.

    CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. - The body of a man was found by police outside a home in the Vancouver Island community of Campbell River on Wednesday.

     

    Police say they received a report of shots being fired at about 2:30 a.m. and when officers arrived they found the dead man.

     

    The Mounties are asking the general public to stay away from the area as they conduct their investigation, which includes forensic units, police dog services and the major crimes unit.

     

    Police say they're also asking anyone who might have information about the incident to contact the RCMP.
