A man is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Abbotsford. Police say the pedestrian accident happened this morning on North Parallel Road.

The driver stayed at the scene and is co-operating with the investigation.
Police say the recent heavy snowfall likely contributed to the crash.
Sajjan says the funds will flow through agencies of the United Nations and the Red Cross as well as non-governmental organizations to provide basic food, water and health services. A shooting in Surrey, B.C.'s Guildford neighbourhood has left one man dead. RCMP were called to the 108 Avenue and 148 Street area around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.
