A man is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Abbotsford. Police say the pedestrian accident happened this morning on North Parallel Road.

The driver stayed at the scene and is co-operating with the investigation.
Police say the recent heavy snowfall likely contributed to the crash.
Mid-sized businesses like London Drugs, along with grocery stores, dollar-stores, and clothing retailers, were among the widest targeted by thieves during the three-week anti-shoplifting blitz, which ran February 15 to March 10.

The suspect was observed on CCTV and is described as a Caucasian male wearing a black hoody with white designs, a blue jacket, dark pants, Nike runners and a black baseball cap.
