Man In Hospital Following Shooting In Vancouver's Downtown Eastside

    One man remains in stable condition after being shot in the Downtown Eastside this morning.
     
    Police received 9-1-1 calls this morning just after 5:30 a.m. reporting the sounds of gunshots in the area of Jackson Avenue and Powell Street. When officers arrived, they found a thirty-year-old Vancouver man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
     
    This shooting does not appear to be random, and no arrests have been made.
     
    No additional information is available at this time.
