Vancouver police say a man jumped on a police car and smashed the windshield over the weekend before he tried to run away.
Officers say yesterday's incident was unrelated to a traffic stop they were conducting at the time.
A man in his 20s was arrested and charges are pending.
RCMP in B-C says one person is facing seven gun-related charges, including possession of a loaded firearm and careless storage of a firearm after the search. Police say drug-related charges are pending and the suspect has been released on bail.
