Vancouver police say a man has been stabbed to death in the city's 26th homicide of the year.

Police say the attack happened Monday at about 3:15 p.m. around Granville and Helmcken streets.

The male victim, who has not been identified by police, died after being taken to hospital.

No further details on the attack have been announced.
