  • Missing Surrey Woman May Be With Burnaby Man Suspected In Ex-Wife's Death: Police
BURNABY, B.C. — Police say a missing woman may be with a man suspected of killing his ex-wife in Burnaby, B.C.

Kyonghee Kim of Surrey was reported missing last week, and officers with the Integrated Homicide Investigations Team say she may be travelling with her boyfriend, Youngku Youn.

Police believe the 54-year-old woman could be in danger if she is with Youn.

IHIT says the 59-year-old man is a suspect in the death of his ex-wife Hee Sook Youn, who was found dead in a Burnaby business last Wednesday.

Police say Youn contacted Kim on Wednesday morning, and her vehicle was spotted travelling over the Golden Ears Bridge a short time later.

They say Youn's car was found abandoned in Pitt Meadows and Kim's vehicle was discovered in Golden Ears Park.

Officers from several Lower Mainland police agencies searched the park over the weekend, but did not find the pair.
