  • Music, culture, and community come together at Amazon’s YVR4 Fulfilment Centre

Amazon marked the Festival of Lights with a vibrant Diwali celebration at its YVR4 Fulfilment Centre in Delta, featuring a Q&A with Chani Nattan, one of Amazon Music’s 2025 Artists to Watch whose music is featured on The Port playlist.

An afternoon celebrating light, joy, and community, complete with cultural performances, a behind-the-scenes site tour, and a hands-on “Pack an Amazon Box” experience for guests.

“Diwali is about celebrating connection — with our families, our neighbours, and our community,” said Councillor Dylan Kruger, City of Delta.

“Amazon’s celebration brings that spirit to life by showcasing how a global company can meaningfully connect with the people and cultures that make Delta so unique,” said Councillor Jennifer Johal, City of Delta

“We’re proud to celebrate Diwali alongside our employees and community partners,” said Shailesh Kumar, Site Lead at YRV4, Amazon Canada. “Events like this remind us that inclusion and belonging are central to who we are at Amazon — and that our strength comes from the diverse people and perspectives that light up our sites every day.”

The celebration included an artist Q&A moderated by the Amazon Music Canada team, as well as a tour of the YVR4 Fulfilment Centre, where guests experienced how Amazon packages and ships customer orders.

Chani Nattan, based in British Columbia, was recently named among Amazon Music’s “Artists to Watch” for 2025 — a recognition of emerging voices shaping the future of Punjabi and South Asian music.
