N.B. Murder Case: RCMP Ask Public To Inspect Varied Online Photos Of Fugitive

The Canadian Press, 22 Jan, 2016 12:39 PM
MONCTON, N.B. — As the RCMP search for a young mother wanted for a violent murder in New Brunswick, investigators are asking the public to take a closer look at the many photos of Marissa Shephard on social media.

The Mounties say the photos on Twitter and Facebook illustrate the accused's uncanny ability to change her appearance.

The 20-year-old hasn't been seen since mid December.

She has been charged with first-degree murder and arson in the death of 18-year-old Baylee Wylie, whose body was found Dec. 17 inside a burned-out triplex in Moncton.

Police say the Moncton woman is considered dangerous due to the violent nature of the crime.

Four other young people have since been arrested and charged.
