  • New Westminster Police Issue Warning After Reports Of A Man Doing Indecent Acts

In the past week the New Westminster Police Department received three reports of a man committing indecent acts in the Connaught Heights and West End neighbourhoods.

In all instances, occupants in the home saw the man through their basement window. The suspect was allegedly masturbating. Police with the assistance of a K9 team searched the area, however they couldn’t find anyone matching the suspect description.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, between 35 – 40 years of age, with a medium build, wearing blue jeans, hooded sweatshirt, flannel shirt, and a blue surgical face mask. “We’re going to have a higher police presence in the area over the next while,” stated Sergeant Sanjay Kumar. “Please, if you spot anyone committing what you suspect is an indecent act, call 9-1-1 as soon as possible, so police can respond quickly.”

Officers are still investigating these incidents. If you have any information or recognize the man in the photo below please contact the New Westminster Police Department Street Crime Unit at 604-525-5411.
