Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 26 Sep, 2015 03:11 PM
DELINE, N.W.T. — No one was injured when a cargo plane made emergency landing northwest of Yellowknife.

Transportation Safety Board spokesman Chris Krepski says the Buffalo Airways plane was en route this morning from Yellowknife to Norman Wells, N.W.T., when it experienced engine failure.

The Curtiss C-46 Commando plane, with four people aboard, diverted to Deline, N.W.T.

Krepski says it landed gear-up around 12:30 p.m. local time and all four are OK.

He didn't know the extent of the damage to the plane.

Krepski says the board is not deploying a team to the site, but will gather information to investigate.
