A person who was rescued from a house fire in Winnipeg last night has died.

The city's fire service says crews were called to a two-and-a-half storey duplex in the 1400 block of Selkirk Avenue at around 11 p.m.

Some residents who were able to leave the home on their own told crews that one person may still be inside.
