One Man Dead, Two Arrested Following Targeted Shooting At Surrey's Southpoint Exchange Mall

    One man has died following a targeted shooting Friday morning at the Southpoint Exchange mall in South Surrey.

     

    Two suspects have been arrested.

     

    Surrey RCMP say the shooting occurred around 9:20 a.m. in the drive-thru lane shared by Envision Financial and Starbucks.

     

    “Officers arrived and located a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency Health Services attended. Despite all attempts to revive the individual, the male succumbed to his injuries. Initial indications are that this is a targeted incident,” Surrey RCMP Cpl. Elaine Sturko said.

     
     

    The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is being brought in to help with the case.

     

    Police have asked any with information on what happened to call the Surrey RCMP detachment at 604-599-0502, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS if they want to remain anonymous.
