Open House For Potential Highway 97A Improvements

Darpan News Desk, 11 Oct, 2019 05:38 PM

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure invites the public to an open house to discuss options for long-term highway improvements in the Enderby/Splatsin area.

Ministry staff will be on hand to answer questions and share a variety of possible options to improve highway safety and efficiency as part of the Highway 97A - Enderby/Splatsin Transportation Study.

This open house follows public workshops in both communities earlier this year to gather initial input on potential improvements, which could include intersection upgrades, highway capacity upgrades, highway access modifications, alternative routes and traffic control measures.

The media and public are welcome to attend the open house:

    Date: Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019

    Time: 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

    Location:
    Enderby Seniors Centre
    1101 George St.
