Parking Enforcement Officer 'Powerless' As 3 Toronto Cops Had Sex With Her

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 07 Jun, 2017 01:10 PM
TORONTO — A female parking enforcement officer is telling a court she felt powerless and unable to move or speak when three Toronto police officers had sex with her against her wishes after a long night of partying.

The woman, who cannot be identified due to a standard publication ban, is testifying at the trial of Joshua Cabero, Leslie Nyznik, and Sameer Kara, who have all pleaded not guilty to sexual assault in connection with the alleged incident.

The woman says she was out drinking with up to a dozen police officers on Jan. 16, 2015, and returned to a hotel room around midnight with two of the officers, with a plan to drag the third — who had left the group earlier — out of bed to continue the night at another bar.

The woman, who recalls being intoxicated, says her memory of the night is spotty at times, but she says she recalls Nyznik forcing her to have oral sex in the hotel room, and another man having non-consensual sex with her.

She says Kara, whom she was friends with, at one point told the other men to stop, but she testified he later had sex with her without her consent as well.

The trial is taking place before a judge alone in downtown Toronto.
