NEW WESTMINSTER, BC —The Pattullo Bridge will only be open to southbound traffic overnight on Friday, June 24 to allow for work being conducted by the Government of British Columbia, as part of the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project.

To ensure this work is completed safely, northbound bridge lane closures, and a full closure of the Bridge Connector under the Royal Avenue overpass in New Westminster will be in place from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. The bridge will remain open to pedestrians, cyclists, and first responders in both directions at all times.

Pattullo Bridge users travelling to New Westminster are encouraged to take the Port Mann or Alex Fraser bridges. Southbound lanes on the Pattullo Bridge will remain open, but motorists coming from McBride Boulevard will be detoured to the Columbia Street on-ramp. The Royal Avenue on-ramp will remain open.
