Police in New Westminster are investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian. It happened yesterday afternoon and police say the pedestrian died at the scene.

The diver and lone occupant of the BMW pulled alongside her, asked where she lived, and offered her a ride. When the girl declined, he followed her while repeating his offer. She repeatedly declined before the driver left the area.
