The New Westminster Police are investigating fatal motor vehicle incident investigation in the 300 block of East 8th Avenue.

On Tuesday in the evening around  7:00 patrol officers were called to the 300 block of East 8th Avenue for an unresponsive pedestrian involved in a collision with a transit bus.

Via release, Sergeant Justine Thom says  “This is a tragic event and our thoughts are with the family of this individual, we have a large team of investigators working together to determine how this happened, but we are still in the early stages at this point.”
