Darpan News Desk, 26 Oct, 2018 08:36 PM
B.C. businessman Perminder Chohan’s philanthropic foundation has created a $20,000 endowment to support the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Foundation and help students in financial need.

The Perminder Chohan Foundation’s fund will help students through scholarships for the Entrepreneurial Leadership program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, so that they can have access to good education and succeed in life.

“This fund goes beyond the financial value, and impacts life of the students who are setting out to achieve their dreams,” says Mr. Chohan. “It is an example to them, of how they can empower others when they achieve their potential.”

Mr. Chohan believes, “if you are there for others, others will be there for you.” This is his way of giving back to the community he lives in.

The Perminder Chohan Foundation strives to provide resources and support education, health, poverty alleviation and bring positive changes in the local community. The organization helps various charities around the Lower Mainland and also has some projects lined up in India. For more information, please visit perminderchohanfoundation.com.
