Darpan News Desk, 04 Nov, 2019 06:32 PM

On Friday evening 80-year-old Lorne Herron was reported missing from his residence in Fort Langley. Police are requesting anyone living in or with property in the area to help us out by looking around your yard and land for any evidence of Mr. Herron being there. Also, if you have external video surveillance cameras, we ask that you review it looking for any signs of him.

As reported previously, Mr. Herron struggles with memory loss and dementia. He has not been seen since Friday evening. Langley RCMP, Air Services, Police Dog Services and Central Fraser Valley Search and Rescue have conducted an intensive search of the area. Police need additional help from the general public to help locate Mr. Herron.

Mr. Herron is described as a Caucasian man, 6’2 tall and approximately 170 pounds. He has grey hair, blue eyes and is believed to be wearing a grey coat with a light hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Mr. Herron has resided in the Fort Langley area for approximately one week having recently moved from Abbotsford. The possibility remains he was attempting to get back to the Abbotsford area.
