Police Release Sketch Of Suspect Wanted In Brampton Sex Assault

    Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit are continuing to seek the public’s assistance in relation to a sexual assault investigation in the City of Brampton.


    On November 10, 2019, between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., a female victim was in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Bovaird Drive West in the City of Brampton.


    A male suspect approached the victim and offered to give her a ride home. The victim entered the vehicle and a short time later realized that she was not being driven home; the suspect drove her to a parking lot where he sexually assaulted her.


    A composite sketch of the suspect is now available. The suspect vehicle is a Nissan Sentra 2015-2016 maroon in colour. To view photo of the sketch and vehicle, please visit our website.


    In a statement police advised the public not to take rides from strangers, and to be aware when travelling at night.
