Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 13 Mar, 2019 07:44 PM

RICHMOND, B.C. — Police are investigating a shooting and a vehicle fire in Richmond, B.C., but say it's not known if the two incidents are linked.

RCMP say officers arrived at the BC Maritime Employers Association training centre to find a 25-year-old man suffering from serious and potentially life-threatening injuries.

Mounties say in a release that a witness reported seeing a man dressed in black escaping from the area on foot.

Police also received a report of a vehicle on fire in another area of Richmond.

RCMP believe the injured man was targeted.

Sgt. Janelle Shoihet says anyone with information on either of the incidents should contact police.
