COQUITLAM, B.C. — Police say one person is dead after a two-vehicle collision in Coquitlam B.C. Thursday evening.
RCMP say officers responded to a collision involving an SUV and a Dodge Durango around 7:20 p.m.
They say one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police also say two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Shaukat Khan said when he heard news of the attack, he sent a message to his friend, Naeem Rashid, reading: "Hope all is well with you and your family. Just heard about the news. Let me know."
