Regina Seeking Citizen Input On How To Regulate Body Rub Parlours

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 02 Mar, 2019 01:50 AM

REGINA — The City of Regina wants input from residents on how body rub parlours should be regulated.

The city says it needs a new policy to minimize the effect on neighbourhoods while looking to protect the safety of parlour workers.

So far, city officials have worked with Regina police, including reviewing regulations in other Canadian cities.

While the idea of banning parlours was discussed, police say it is safer to regulate them.

Citizens can have their say by visiting the city's website, register to attend a discussion meeting or provide written feedback before March 8.

There are 21 body rub parlours in Regina.
