  • Richmond RCMP investigating stabbing involving two victims

On Wednesday morning, at approximately 11am, Richmond RCMP responded to the 11000 block of No 5 Rd for two victims suffering from stab wounds in a local area business.

In a statement, the Mounties say they arrived right away 'but the suspect had already fled the area'.

After sometime, the suspect was located and taken into custody without incident.

The suspect was arrested shortly after noon near Hwy 1 on the Clearbook Rd exit in Abbotsford. 

The two victims were transported by ambulance to a local area hospital. Both have non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is believed to have an association to the business. There is no risk to the public.

Richmond RCMP Serious Crime unit have conduct of the investigation.
