Richmond RCMP need the public's assistance in locating Nathan Pillay

The 27-year old Richmond resident who was reported missing today, has been located.

EARLIER STORY

Richmond RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Richmond resident.

27-year old Nathan Pillay was last seen leaving his home in the 10200 block of Shell Road at about midnight last night (April 5/6).

Pillay requires daily medication and family members are becoming concerned for his well-being.

Nathan Pillay is described as:

A South Asian male;
27 years old;
5’7” tall;
slim build;
With short black hair.

Pillay was last seen wearing a brown jacket, brown or white sweatpants, and carrying a black backpack

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Nathan Pillay is asked to contact the Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212.

The victim was crossing Cambie Street at West 41st Avenue at 9 a.m. on February 14 when she was struck by a flatbed transport truck that was making a right turn to head south on Cambie. She sustained serious injuries, and remains in hospital.

Human remains located in Cloverdale

On Wednesday close to 12:45pm, Police responded to a report of what appeared to be human remains found in a wooded area on an empty lot in the 19000-block of Fraser Highway. Police are working to identify the deceased individual.
