Search For Jet Ski Operator After Crash Of Two Water Craft In Kamloops, B.C.

KAMLOOPS, B.C. — The search for a missing man who had been operating a personal watercraft has resumed on the South Thompson River near Kamloops, B.C.
 
 
The man disappeared Sunday afternoon following a collision with another personal watercraft.
 
 
The driver of the second water craft was pulled out of the river but Kamloops RCMP say the missing man did not resurface after being thrown off his machine.
 
 
Police are still investigating how the crash occurred.
 
 
Search and rescue crews, backed by a helicopter, are due to be joined by divers as the search continues.
 
 
The name of the missing man has not been released.
