Darpan News Desk, 31 Jan, 2020 09:06 PM

Penticton – Emergency crews respond to single vehicle collision into a power pole.

On January 30th, 2020, at 2:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a single vehicle having struck a power pole in the 2000 block of Naramata Road.

Front-line officers, along with the Naramata Fire Department, arrived to learn a smaller vehicle was witnessed up against the power pole, before it reversed and continued toward Penticton.

Fortis crews were notified to assist with the damage caused to the power pole, which likely resulted in many residents being without power.

Officers are hoping to identify the vehicle and driver, and believe it may have been a smaller Ford car.
