Serious Crash Sends Langley Motorcyclist To Hospital In Langley

Darpan News Desk , 14 Jul, 2017 12:14 PM
Langley RCMP is currently investigating a serious collision in the 26400 block of 56th Avenue.

Police were called at 4:20 this afternoon for what appears to be a collision between a motorcycle, Toyota Camry and a Toyota 4Runner.

Early investigation suggests that the motorcycle was eastbound on 56th Avenue when the north bound Camry attempted to make a left hand turn out of an area business.

The operator of the motorcycle attempted without success to avoid colliding with the Camry and struck the side of the car. The motorcycle came to rest at the front of a westbound Toyota 4Runner.

The operator of the motorcycle has sustained significant injuries and has been transported to area hospital by ambulance. The drivers of the Camry and 4Runner were uninjured and remained at scene.

ICARS has been called to assist with the investigation.

Any witnesses who witnessed the collision and have not yet spoken to police are asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
