Shots fired at a Delta home

Police in Delta say no one was injured after shots were fired into a home in the city yesterday morning.

Police say the shooting happened at around 3 a-m, when an unknown suspect shot into the home located in the 113-hundred block of 92nd Avenue.

Investigators say the home was occupied at the time but no one was hurt.

Police say they believe the shooting was targeted but the motive and the suspect's identity remain unknown, and investigators are still trying to determine if the attack was gang-related.

British Columbia's independent police watchdog has cleared officers of wrongdoing in a crash where three people were killed south of Kamloops in July of last year. Yukon says its Communicable Disease Control and the territory's chief medical officer have confirmed a case of whooping cough on a flight from Whitehorse to Vancouver earlier this month.
