Shots Fired During Failed Dawson Creek Home Invasion; RCMP Searches For Suspects

The Canadian Press, 25 Sep, 2015 06:30 PM
DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Police are looking for the suspects who shot at a Dawson Creek, B.C., house during a failed home invasion.

RCMP say they received a report of several people trying to break into the home by force early Friday morning.

They say officers were still heading to the scene in the city's south end when they learned shots had been fired at the home.

Officers arrived, confirmed the shooting and found no residents hurt.

RCMP say they believe the incident was targeted and the residents are suspected to be involved in the drug trade.
