UPDATE:

COVID19 denier who made headlines calling COVID19 a conspiracy passed away unexpectedly in New Westminster. Mak Parhar died on Thursday.

He was seen at anti-mask rallies and believed the Earth was flat.

He released a video not long ago where he talked about his illness. In the video he said he doesn't quite know what the illness is but has been experiencing cough, chills, and body aches.

According to the BC Coroner's service the exact cause of his death is not known.

Friends took to social media to grieve over his passing away.

EARLIER STORY:

A South Asian has not taken COVID19 regulations seriously for the second time and has been charged with three counts of breaking the Quarantine Act.

Mak Parhar owner of Bikram Yoga in Delta where hot yoga classes are conducted was in the news in the Spring time for spreading misinformation about COVID19 suggesting that the virus cannot survive in hot temperatures.

After numerous complaints Delta Mayor George Harvie ordered Parhar's license be suspended.

IRecently, according to a post on his Facebook page Parhar just returned from South Carolina for an event known as Flatoberfest 2020 — a gathering of conspiracy theorists who believe the Earth is flat.

Parhar told the people assembled at the rally that he did not care for officers who gave him warnings before he was issued tickets. The court is involved and say he broke the quarantine act  for 3 days the Halloween weekend and following Monday November 2nd.

In his messaging during the rally Parhar spoke with pride about removing his mask on planes and did not fill out federal government quarantine forms when he got back on home soil at VYR.

There are fines in place for not following the quarantine act of up to $300,000 or even jail time.

It doesn't stop there if a person is deliberately acting in a manner to put others at risk then the resutlant fine is $1-million and longer jail time.

Parhar is to appear in person at New Westminster provincial court on Nov. 16.
