Mounties in Surrey say they are looking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who reportedly stabbed two youths last week. 

Police say they responded to reports of the stabbing in the afternoon of November 14th in the city’s Newton neighbourhood, finding two injured youths. 

Mounties say both youths had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital for assessment. 

The male suspect is described as being five feet five inches tall, with black hair and in his mid to late teens.

Alberta's minister of public safety said bus tours of the community that were scheduled to begin Sunday were postponed 24 hours because of the death over the weekend of a firefighter in Jasper National Park. Mike Ellis said in a social media post that the decision was made out of respect for the family, crew and all those impacted by the tragedy.
