Mounties in Surrey say they are looking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who reportedly stabbed two youths last week.
Police say they responded to reports of the stabbing in the afternoon of November 14th in the city’s Newton neighbourhood, finding two injured youths.
Mounties say both youths had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital for assessment.
The male suspect is described as being five feet five inches tall, with black hair and in his mid to late teens.
Surrey R-C-M-P say one youth has been charged following a stabbing attack on two men earlier this month. Police say on September 11th, officers responded to calls of a fight on 130-A Street.
The B-C Green Party wants to lower the voting age in the province to 16, saying the move would empower young people and strengthen democracy. An early morning fire has destroyed a historic bridge in Kamloops. The blaze is believed to have started in the middle of city's Red Bridge at around 3 a-m, eventually engulfing the wooden structure that had two lanes for vehicles.
